Our approach to Safeguarding & Compliance is without compromise

From an initial query from a candidate all the way through to registration and beyond; every element of safer recruitment is fully adhered to. We take the time to conduct a thorough pre-screen interview via telephone prior to forwarding registration documentation. Many applicants don’t get past first base!

If we feel they are a good match and can complete all our safer recruitment prerequisites, we then invite them for a face-to-face interview which is both in depth and rigorous. References received must meet our very exacting standards. We ensure all candidates provide full details of referees and have substantial experience in childcare in the last two years.

All mandatory rights to work in the UK and further compliance checks are completed and only given the green light once they have been further checked by a team Manager.   We are members of Apsco Compliance+ and ensure our compliance is of the highest standard and meet DfE statutory requirements.   Safeguarding training is undertaken each year, and we perform 3 monthly DBS online update checks.  This goes above and beyond statutory guidelines of yearly checks.

Our staff also have access to free CPD training to ensure they are keeping up to date with all new guidelines, further SEN qualifications and training as relevant.
